Global Liquidity and Cash Management is a major product group for HSBC. The success of this business is strongly dependent on the development, execution and commercialization of the suite of cash management products. Product Managementin this context encompasses:
Global Product Strategy Design with primacy for P&L
Align IT Investment & Prioritization for Global Programs with Regional Oversight
Pricing Strategy, commercialization and marketing of Global Platforms with Regional oversight.
Oversight for Product Governance, Product Risk Mitigation and Product Fraud Prevention.
The Product Manager, Liquidity & Investment role focuses on the Global Product Development and Delivery components of the Liquidity & Investment product set. As part of the Global Product team, the incumbent will be required to interact closely with local, regional and global stakeholders to execute the Liquidity vision across the product development life cycle. Significant investments are being made in this space, in response to evolving regulations and positioning the product set as a driver of future growth, making the role both highly strategic and visible across the organization.
In this role, you will:
Provide overall global oversight to realize short and long-term product strategies leveraging and aligning internal and external stakeholders against priorities
Define and drive global innovation.
Execute the product strategy and vision through the product development life cycle
Align and prioritize IT Investment requirements during the AOP planning process, particularly with the global programs.
Drive global management for product and process rationalization.
Drive improvements in business profitability through focused cost containment, speed to market of capability and effective operating risk control.
Develop and deploy a consistent operating model for the execution of products
Driving effective interaction across organizational boundaries, including business, client services, operations, IT, external providers to deliver optimized customer experiences.
Interaction and drive regional and local product management teams across several geographies to execute our product programs in support of our client groups.
