We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated GIS Analyst to join our ground-breaking Smart Infrastructure team.
You will play a key part in developing new solutions for Governments and industry-leading organisations to transform the way infrastructure performs. Through the deployment of multi-user collaborative GIS platforms built with industry leading software, you will gain extensive of GIS management, development, systems architecture and client liaison.
Based across our central London and Cambridge offices, with a remit to support the global business, the business is focused on helping our clients to 'realising the true value of information', to deliver better outcomes across the planning, delivery, and operation of their asset base.
As a GIS Analyst you will provide GIS and other technical and administrative support on a range of small to large projects as part of our Smart GIS team. The key elements of the role are (but not limited to):
- Creation and maintenance of online multi-user GIS environments for major clients
- Providing technical GIS support to specialist teams undertaking data preparation
- Work closely with other GIS team members in the business in ongoing development and implementation of standards to day to day GIS processes and data management
- Contributing to technical report writing
- Liaise confidently with external clients and colleagues across Mott MacDonald and work to expand our client and project portfolio of GIS projects
Support bid managers in drafting and collating bid documentation, learning the quality, environment and safety requirements of projects and develop project management skills.
Please note: this role will be based working in our Cambridge office.
