The role

The Account Delivery Executive (ADE) is an account delivery leadership role within our top, relationship and strategic investment accounts, who oversees all account resources, relationships, delivery execution, profitability as well as the longer term growth opportunities as we truly seek to drive digital transformation within our customers.

The Account Delivery Executive owns the end-to-end delivery relationship within 1-4 customer accounts, representing Microsoft Services throughout the deal phases whilst demonstrating a critical partnership with Sales. This role leads delivery teams from both consulting and support capabilities, ensuring there is a single point of contact/escalation for the customer. The Account Delivery Executive is on point to drive customer satisfaction whilst ensuring services revenue growth & profitability, creating delivery plans that support the account strategies, drive digital transformation and of key important demonstrating customer value realization.

  • Business Value Management – End to End Business Approach

  • Influence and manage customer expectations within 1-4 accounts, based on an end-to-end Delivery – Support lifecycle

  • Investigate the customer’s long-term business objectives, anticipate future technical needs and lead/inspire our customers as they transform their business

  • Lead exec/senior customer conversations to optimize business outcomes for the customer and Microsoft

  • Ensure high quality governance activities occur in line with customer and MS defined business outcomes

  • Opportunity Management

  • Leverage customer, partner and internal teams to drive high quality opportunity management

  • Map Microsoft solutions and strategies to the customer environment and drive strategic development and delivery plans to provide the highest value to the customer

  • Work with Services Executive(s) and Account Manager(s) to execute a sales and business development strategy to meet customer and market demand

  • Contract Initiation

  • Drive clarity and customer understanding in creation of contracting documents necessary to proceed with delivery of services

  • Delivery and Resource Management

  • Manage end-to-end customer delivery for assigned account(s) meeting customer requirements, profitably targets and engagement contract expectations

  • Prioritize strategic business objectives, performing “bottom up” business planning and quarterly reviews

  • Drive Services forecasting, compliance and approvals of investments

  • Services Leadership

  • Embodies the One Microsoft spirit, and is an ambassador for Services Delivery

  • Communicate vision, drive account strategies and commitments together with mentoring relevant roles within Services and across Account teams

  • Resolve customer escalations and when appropriate, raise to Services Leadership visibility with a clear summaries and recommended resolutions

  • Review and contribute to Account Plans,, Services Growth Plans and Services Delivery Plans


  • Drive an end-to end customer centric approach through all areas of your role

  • Support, coach and enable teams to drive delivery excellence through customer satisfaction activities and behaviors
