And all our applications and services will increase in their ability to anticipate user intention, automate basic actions, making Office more personalized than it is today.

Our team's focus is bringing these AI driven capabilites to Search scenarios across a wide range of Microsoft products including; Teams, Sharepoint, Outlook, Cortana, Windows as well as a host of other Microsoft products, centered around the vision of Microsoft Search.

Office data probably represents the world’s largest productivity dataset annotated with usage signals from hundreds of millions of users. Imagine taking an arbitrary dataset and training an ML model by harnessing the power of distributed compute in the cloud. And imagine the power of an end user-facing scenario that deploys these models seamlessly in the cloud or in the client to power persoanlly and contextually relevant Search results, collect user labels and kickstart the flywheel of feedback and refinement!


We are looking for a smart, highly motivated, and innovative PM who is passionate about building world-class Search platforms including NLP/ML models. You will work with multiple global, cross-organization partner teams to understand the end to end scenarios, translate the requirements into specifications and work with a team of software engineers and applied scientists to implement them. You will balance rapid iteration, respecting privacy and compliance requirements and efficient scaling to international markets.


Skills Required

  • 5+ years of professional program management
  • Strong leadership, effective communication skills, and great team and cross-group collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and curious, with a growth mindset, with the ability to structure complex problems and think creatively
  • A passion for improving end user experience & productivity, value user experience and productivity as well as understanding the technology that delivers this
  • 2+ year's experience in areas such as machine learning, web search, large-scale data processing platforms, and personalized Web services, designing and running A/B experiments
