Microsoft Research Cambridge (UK) is seeking a candidate for a three-month internship who has extensive practical experience as a speech and language therapist. The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team building and testing experiences that use artificial intelligence to support social interaction in children with disabilities. The candidate will be responsible for contributing theoretical knowledge of the building blocks of social interaction and practical knowledge of how to engage children in such learning. This is an exceptional opportunity to participate in building and deploying a system that could have substantial impact of the lives of children.
Internship details: 3 months, full time, competitive pay

- Minimum of 5 years as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Currently enrolled in a masters / phd course
