Azure Security & Operational Compliance Lead

We also run and manage our ITinfrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world’sleading international bank.
Ourmulti-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and backend developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, aswell as project and programme managers.
We work insmall, agile DevOps teams with colleagues around the world from our offices atthe Bluefin Building in Southwark, our global headquarters in Canary Wharf, andmultiple other locations around the UK including Sheffield, Leeds, Barnsley andBirmingham.
Followingextensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains and with plansfor continued expansion throughout 2019 and beyond, we are currently seeking an Azure Security & OperationalCompliance Leadto join HSBC Technology.
You will work within the Azure Cloud Services team and be responsiblefor making sure all aspects of the platform are secure and all operationalrisks are managed. Reporting to the global Azure Platform lead and engagingwith Microsoft, Chief Controls Office, Cyber Security teams, ITSR, AzureEngineering, Azure Operational team and customers to ensure that we areproviding a platform that is secure-by-design and compliant with HSBC mandatorypolicies and security standards.
What you will be doing;
- Ensure that Azure foundation platform conforms toHSBC Cyber Security standards
- Incorporate Security
patterns into Azure Cloud Services functional patterns
- Accountable for Azure
foundation platform conformity to HSBC Operational Risk standards
- Ensure the Azure Foundation
Platform conforms to all regulatory requirements
- Support the Cloud Controls
Office and Internal audit functions with requests for information
- Accountable for ensuring
that robust SIEM (logging) and Monitoring processes are in place
- Support the Service
Delivery Manager to implement a 24 x 7 follow the sun support model
- Ensure and maintain
Business continuity plan for the Azure platform and carry out regular
tests in line with HSBC standards Business contingency standards
- Maintain and manage all customer
facing Security information and knowledge bases
and promote the reuse of patterns
- Be an
Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners and external
Management reporting to ensure data driven discussions for continuous
requirements and provide continuous feedback loops between Cyber security,
Controls office and the wider Azure Cloud Services team
