Service Delivery Lead

Would you like to Support the MOD and RoyalNavy by helping to deliver the Combat Systems Trials Programme using ServiceManagement expertise to enable the Operation and Use of the SharedInfrastructure on Type 26 Frigates? We currently have a vacancy for a ServiceDelivery Lead at our site in Portsdown Technology Park.

As a Service Delivery Lead, you will beproviding delivery, change, service asset and configuration managementcapabilities in support of the Integration Trials Team enabling the Land BasedIntegration Facility (LBIF) Service to operate at the required functionalstate.

The Land Based Integration facility (LBIF) willdeliver functional integration, performance de-risking and nominated formalassurance and acceptance activities and is based at Portsdown Technology Parknear Portsmouth. This role will focus onthe Type 26 Frigate integrating and testing of the Local infrastructure and systemsthat have been created.

This role will be based at Portsdown TechnologyPark – However, travel will be required to our Scotstoun & Filton sites, onboard ships and suppliers premises as necessary.

Your main responsibilities as a ServiceDelivery Lead will involve:

Delivering the LBIF local Service Desk, thatwill include processing and implementation of Requests for Change, ServiceRequests, Incident and Service Improvement Reports.

Acting as the Process Owner for the relevantprocesses within the Service Management regime.

Providing the current LBIF Build State andupdate of the LBIF Configuration Management Database.

Maintaining the Definitive Media Library andits artefacts.

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

In depth knowledge of Information Technology InfrastructureLibrary (ITIL)® based service management at ITIL Expert level or workingtowards it.

Extensive service management experience in afast paced, operationally intensive, networked environment operating under anITIL based regime

Knowledge of ITIL based Service Management (SM)toolsets, ideally including JIRA Service Desk, BMC Remedy

Desirable:

Background inmilitary or Civil Service role with defence experience
