Are you interested in Infrastructure and Engineering? Do you have a passion for technology? Do you enjoy working in digital delivery environments?

We are presently looking to recruit a Digital Consultant to join the Metros & Civils division in Croydon. You will be part of the Information Management Network which is responsible and invests in technology and improved ways of working to help deliver our projects. We previously won the Bentley Year In Infrastructure BIM Advancement award in Project Delivery for our involvement in Tideway East in 2017.

We are looking for someone who is creative, pro-active and able to work through complex problems to deliver better solutions to our project teams and Clients. You might not have all the answers but you are able to think on your feet, maybe outside the box, but most importantly as part of a team. Information Management is a diverse and exciting topic. One day you might be developing a new process to deliver asset information for one of the world's biggest airports, the next you might be working with machine learning experts to flat-pack a super structure so it can be built off site.

What will you be doing?

Working with teams of Engineers on various infrastructure projects, you'll be involved in connecting people and finding digital solutions to implement different ways we can deliver projects to our Clients. You will work with project teams to develop better ways we manage and control our information. With your aptitude for technology, you will trial the latest technology by becoming a superuser and apply solutions to solve various problems in how we deliver our projects. Additionally you will be working on a number of engineering projects and will be involved in visiting project and Client sites to provide advise and training to various digital systems.

Does this sound like you?

With your degree in Engineering, Sciences or Technology (or similar) you've developed an aptitude for both problem solving and technology with a passion for digital systems. You enjoy challenging the status quo and coming up with new ideas in how to better processes and delivery. Additionally you have good verbal and written communication skills and enjoy liaising with both internal and external stakeholders in order to communicate with clients. With your experience in various digital systems and software platforms such as AEcosim, ProjectWise, Power BI etc. you are confident in your technical ability to be able to implement digital tools for engineering project delivery and provide consultation/training/advice where necessary. You're also a team player and enjoy collaborating with a team to analyse problems and provide solutions.
