People Capability Lead –Air Procurement

Would you like to play a key role within thedevelopment of the Air procurement workforce capability, to enable successfuldelivery of current and future business? We currently have a vacancy fora People Capability Lead – Air Procurement at our site in Warton, occasionaltravel to Samlesbury.

As a People Capability Lead– Air Procurement, you will be supportingresourcing, capability development and early careers. You will work closelywith the line of business Procurement teams across Air globally, with aparticular focus on a major hub in north-west England to ensure a coordinatedand integrated approach to early careers procurement capability development.Our overall aim is to improve our operational performance, grow skills thatwill support our competitive edge and create a workforce that is adaptable inan increasable changing environment.

This role will provide youwith the opportunity to take full ownership of projects within theinternational AIR sector.

Your main responsibilitiesas a People Capability Lead – Air Procurement will involve:

Supporting the developmentof procurement capability which meets the Air Sector short, medium and longterm skills demand (as articulated in Strategic Workforce Planning) throughsupporting appropriate experiential development

Supporting the delivery ofa knowledge management strategy (and toolset as appropriate) across AirProcurement, which captures, organises and preserves valuable functionalknowledge including the leveraging of best practice

Coordinating and organisingthe early careers programmes across Air Procurement UK including FunctionalGraduate, Undergraduate and BMA Manager, to ensure a robust pipeline of futuretalent across all lines of business

Coordination of reportingfor Air Procurement People Capability forums and leadership reviews – using MSExcel and Tableau software, as well as in support of Strategic Workforceplanning across Air Procurement

Ad-hoc support to wider AirProcurement people-related matters or projects as appropriate

Supporting campaignrecruitment activities across lines of business where required

Your skills andqualifications:

Proactive with animprovement mindset; a desire to create positive change

Good planning andorganisational skills, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to manage multipleconflicting time deadlines,

Strong communication skillsand interpersonal skills

Flexible and adaptableapproach to work package

Procurement knowledge wouldbe desirable

What we're looking for inyou:

A proactive approach, goodstakeholder management skills and adaptability to work across the Air lines ofbusiness are essential. Experience within procurement would be desirable butnot essential for a successful applicant.

Location: Warton, occasional travel to Samlesbury

Salary: £32660+ Dependent on experience
