Would you like to play a key role in assistingthe MOD as they transition their way of working? We currently have a vacancyfor a Project Manager at our customer’s site in Corsham.
As a Project Manager, you will be using yourProject Management Expertise to lead, manage and support the delivery of keyinformation systems and services. You will be responsible for managing projectsand packages of work based within our customer organisation workingcollaboratively with our customer and a multi-supplier eco-system, includingother BAE systems team members. The role will include adopting customergovernance and process as well as identifying and implementing areas forcontinual improvement.
This role is an opportunity to embed within ahigh-profile MOD programme, working directly alongside the customer to delivertheir programme and vision. The customer is changing how they delivercapability to its users and this is one of the first programmes that is adoptingan MOD as Prime System Integrator model.

Your main responsibilities as a Project Managerwill involve:
Preparing and maintaining schedules ofactivities and events, taking account of dependencies and resource requirements
Identifying and monitoring project risks(threats and opportunities) planning and implementing responses to them andresponding to other issues that affect products
Managing the consolidation and documenting ofthe fundamental components of the project (scope, schedule, resourcerequirements, budgets, risks, opportunities, issues and qualityrequirements)
Identifying, defining, evaluating, planning,tracking and realising the business benefits of the project
Establishing and maintaining governancearrangements for the delivery of the project, defining clear roles,responsibilities and accountabilities that align with organisation practice
Developing and managing teams, identifying,addressing and resolving differences between individuals and/or interest groups
Utilising communication skills to handlediverse audiences in a multi-supplier environment
Your skills and qualifications:
Good communications skills and ability to buildrelationships with a diverse spectrum of individuals (customer, suppliers etc.)
Experience working in close collaboration withone or more customers
Adaptability and flexibility in order to reactand positively respond to change
Knowledge of project management techniques andrecent experience in leading delivery projects
Delivering secure solutions based on MicrosoftWindows and additional Microsoft based technologies
such as Exchange, Skype, SQL and GroupPolicy.
Ability to identify risks associated withbusiness processes, operations, information security programs and technologyprojects.
Have proven experience of working within or inclose collaboration with the UK MoD as a Project Manager
Have a reasonable understanding from atechnical perspective of military deployed CIS and associated CISInfrastructure
Knowledge of delivering Agile Deliveryprojects.
Managing IS/IT Project Delivery, including tothe UK Military.
A recognised project management methodologysuch as PRINCE2/APMP/MSP

Salary: £42,300 +dependent on experience
