Senior Support Integration Engineer

Would you like to work within an interesting role as a Support Integration Engineer. A challenging new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer within the Service Management Support Integration Delivery Team at our site in Warton.

As a Senior Support Integration Engineer, you will be required to work on behalf of multiple customers and ensure efficient and timely delivery of all support elements associated with Integrated Typhoon Support Solutions into these customers.The Support Integration Engineer within this role will involve Customer interfacing and gaining a good understanding of the customers’ requirements in order to provide Integrated Support Solutions to enable and improve upon Typhoon support operations in the UK / Oman / Saudi Arabia / Qatar.This will involve ensuring that all support deliverables, including Technical publications, Ground Support Equipment and spares etc are fit for purpose along with managing the integration and implementation of any changes required to further enhance the customer aircraft Support Solution.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to operate within a customer interfacing capacity and enhance your understanding of the Support Solutions associated with the customer aircraft operations.This is an integration role where you will be working alongside and interfacing on a daily basis with multiple areas of the wider business.This role will give you exposure to and a greater understanding of a wide range of areas within the business, with potential to further develop your career within Service Management.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Engineer – Support Integration will involve:

Scoping requirements for Integrated Support Solution enhancements, particularly in relation proposed Ground Based Support changes.

Liaising with the Customer Contract and Support Programmes teams to define, mature and implement Ground Based Support design changes.

Developing Integrated Support Solutions through the engineering lifecycle utilising the Support DDP process.

Holding regular engagements with stakeholders for responsible packages of work.

Supporting the Project Management team responsible for delivery of changes with Programme Engineering inputs.

Providing inputs to Technical Review Packs.

Providing Technical support to New Capability Bids.

Supporting introduction of new Support Solutions through the Implementation/Mobilisation phases.

Providing support to the Engineering and Technical Managers for the coordination of the ELC design review cycles.

Performing overall Support Engineering Integration Management for packages of work in your control.

Undertaking people management activities associated with supporting the management of the Ground Based Support Integration team.

**Your skills and qualifications:


Experience with Product development and producing capability, inclusive of all support elements, for delivery to customers.

Possess strong communication skills.

Ability to understand customer requirements.

Possess an understanding of Industry Standards and regulations


Previous experience working within Eurofighter project or integrated support solution development

Previous experience of working with the Armed Forces.

Line Management experience.

Experience working within a military or aerospace role.

You must be a self-motivated individual who is able to communicate at all levels. The applicant will preferably be educated to HND level ideally in an Engineering subject or with an appropriate Engineering background, have an understanding of the Eurofighter Typhoon project or integrated support solution development, and be comfortable working in a Customer focussed environment. Travel may be required within the UK and potentially to Europe and the Far/Middle East.

Location: Warton (with travel between Samlesbury, and potentially Europe and to customer domains including the UK and the Far/Middle East)
