The Proposition Manager role is basedwithin the Current Account Acquisition team within Retail Banking and WealthManagement (RBWM).
The CurrentAccount Acquisition team is part of Banking & Propositions and hasresponsibility and oversight of Current Account acquisition across the HSBCGroup brands (HSBC, First Direct and M&S), which generates a significantpart of UK RBWM profit. The team drives acquisition across the full suiteof current accounts from Youth through to Premier, achieving this throughpricing & campaign design and delivery, customer journey improvements and acquisitionproduct management alongside maintaining compliance with relevant regulatoryand internal policy mandates across the UK bank.
The roleof the Proposition Manager, Current Account Acquisition is tobe responsible for supporting delivery of the Annual Operating Plan crossbrand through identifying, designing and delivering initiatives to maximise appealto new current account customers to deliver sales performance and improvecustomer experience of the on-boarding process. The role holder will have theability to determine key priority areas along with the senior managers in theteam and work will vary considerably from identifying data driven insightsthrough to delivering considerable improvements to customer journeys. As partof the team, the role holder will be required to offer support to more juniorcolleagues and to stand-in for the Senior Proposition Manager as and whenrequired. The role holder will be fully supported by senior colleagues andencouraged to find opportunities to learn and develop their knowledge andskillset.
The roleholder will work closely with other Product and Propositions teams in HSBC,first direct and M&S Bank, in addition to a wide range of stakeholdersincluding Digital, Marketing, Credit Risk, Operations, Transformation, IT,Legal and Compliance areas.
Yourresponsibilities will include:
- Lead the team to identify
improvements and changes to the customer on-boarding journey to improve
conversion and customer satisfaction
- Manage and leverage services
provided for CASS and Experian
- Drive improvements for our
front line colleagues supporting our customers
- Drive acquisition performance
to meet the annual operating plan
- Analyse insight / MI to
identify opportunities to improve performance cross brand and cross
- Collaborate with other
Product Managers, Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk and IT for customer
driven outcomes to regulatory or business change
- Design and delivery of initiatives
to optimise performance and maximise market opportunity
- Resource planning and
management to effectively service demand
- Preparation of reports and
papers for senior forums to gain approval for delivery of new initiatives
to support customer focused improvements
