Would youlike to work on projects encompassing both the technology delivery as well asthe successful transition into the business area? We currently have a vacancyfor an IT Project Manager at our site in Preston or Farnborough.

As an ITProject Manager you will be leading medium sized projects or delivering a workpackage as part of a larger programme of work. These could be across multiplecustomers, technologies and domains and will also require focus on the businesschange element to support business transition and transformation activities.

This rolewill provide you with an overall responsibility to deliver internal andexternal business and enterprise projects to cost, timescale, quality andcustomer satisfaction.

Your skillsand qualifications:

StrongProject Management experience within the IT Services domain

Experienceof leading enterprise-wide projects, incorporating successful business changedelivery, to meet strategic business objectives

Experienceof managing supply chains to achieve successful project outcomes

Excellentcommunication, presentation and interpersonal skills; able to produce anddeliver progress updates, proposals and reporting to audiences at all levels

Strongstakeholder management and conflict resolution skills

Knowledgeand experience of Life Cycle Management and working in an organisation withstrong governance practices and processes

Competencewith computer-based Project Management tools including MS Projects MSOfficeetc.

Educatedto degree level

FormalProject Management training, preferably PRINCE2 Practioner, Agile ProjectManagement

and/orPMDY

ITILtraining or six sigma qualifications desirable but not essential

You havea proven track record of leading successful project delivery and building trustand confidence with your stakeholders. You must be capable of working incomplex environments and collaborating across multiple business areas andacross supply chains to achieve common business objectives. You must be able todemonstrate decisiveness in resolving issues, making decisions and identifyingpriorities and be able to confidently communicate (oral & written) withstakeholders at all levels.
