Principal Engineer - SIF Process &Governance
Would you like to like to play a key rolewithin our Shore Integration Facility to test software from various suppliers; Theteam is responsible for configuration and control; virtual environment to testsystems and integrate them together. We currently have a vacancy for a PrincipalEngineer at our site in Barrow.
As a Principal Engineer, you will join acommunity of 15 in the SIF team which is made up of technical, supply chain andprojects professionals' wider integration test facility. Interface primarilywith the design team and there may be a requirement to interface with Supplyand Projects in support of the Project Leader.
This role will provide you with actually seeingthe product, interacting with the systems – hands on ability to review thesystem before any other and could lead to Principal Engineer / Project Leader.
Your main responsibilities as a PrincipalEngineer will involve:
Independent assurance body that reports ontechnical compliance; through testing methods on both the facility and thesystem.
Produce test reports and observation reportsfor design teams to ensure standards are met.
Identify risks against plan by reportingnon-compliance of systems to the Project Leader.
Define/ Develop and support the configurationmanagement within the SIF
Define/ Develop and support InformationAssurance, Information Security/ IT support within the SIF
Your skills and qualifications as a PrincipalEngineer:
Degree qualified in STEM related discipline.
Demonstrable experience of process' in QualityManagement Systems.
A strong configuration and control background
Demonstrable process engineering: complianceagainst audits.
Technical report writing.
Charterships or demonstrable experience inworking towards.
Experience of auditing
Communicate with all levels, customer andregulators
