Wouldyou like work as part of the Cash and Liquidity Team providing a first classservice to all customers? We currently have a vacancy for a LiquidityAccountant at our site in Glascoed.
Therole of Cash and Liquidity Accountant primarily covers responsibilities such asreviewing the businesses funding requirements to enable payments to be made andallow for the investment of any cash surpluses, review and presentation offorecasting and actualisation processes in line with Group Treasuryrequirements. Inaddition, governance is paramount to this role and adherence to the OperationFramework, FPM and all relevant accounting standards is essential and underpinsall Finance Services operations.
Tasksundertaken will vary from time to time to ensure the whole team experiences abroader range of activities and ERPs, at the same time ensuring that there isadequate cross-training within the team to deliver an excellent serviceprovision and business continuity.
FinanceServices is a business unit within BAE Systems Shared Services. It operatesover 2 locations within the UK, providing services and finance solutions to BAEbusinesses both in the UK and internationally.
Your main responsibilities as a LiquidityAccountant will involve:
Cashforecasting – review & presentation
Cashactualisation – review
Dailycash reconciliations – exception handling
Identificationof service/process improvements
BMSupdated in line with review points
PCMconfiguration and system management
KPIand management reporting preparation
Supportcontinuous improvement (RPA)
Your skills and qualifications:
Part qualified in anaccountancy qualification and actively studying
High degree ofnumeracy
Intermediate levelExcel skills
Ideally experience ofworking in a customer service excellence environment

Salary: £29,544 +dependent on experience
