Product Management atHSBC Digital

  • As a product manager at HSBC you play a critical

role in leading a number of agile development teams.

  • Understanding market trends and customer needs

and on the other side proposing commercially viable propositions working

closely with our retail bank stakeholders and the wider digital product

management teams.

  • Our team are passionate about user led design and

working in Agile delivery environments with retail products and

propositions.

  • Our Product Managers actively build relationships

with colleagues across not only our global digital teams but across the

wider organisation working together to create compelling staff and

customer propositions.We are driving

a digital transformation for both our customers and also internally to

departments not yet be accustomed to Agile ways of working.

  • Provide market-leading, compelling Digital

product experiences that can leverage the global scale and distribution

network. With increased connections between businesses around the world,

the aim is to take HSBC from a collection of locally orientated digital

experiences to one global set across RBWM.

Originations Productswithin HSBC Digital

  • The Originations Product team within HDS Digital

are helping to build the front door of the future of the bank - for new

customers and existing customers who will be taking out new products. We

are building new journeys and scaling them out around the world, whilst at

the same time ensuring that we continue to add innovative features which

will enable the bank to remain competitive in the future digital

landscape.

  • Originations covers products such as current

accounts, savings, credit cards, loans and more. We’re growing rapidly and

are seeking excellent new digital managers to help guide the agile

delivery teams, lead the backlog refinement with stakeholders plan out the

future. In addition, the role covers the below aspects:

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide market-leading, compelling Digital

product experiences that can leverage the global scale and distribution

network. With increased connections between businesses around the world,

the aim is to take HSBC from a collection of locally orientated digital

experiences to one global set across RBWM.

  • The journey to create sustainable cost savings

and operational efficiencies is being driven by standardizing systems,

processes and products on a global scale. To create savings we need to

drive out waste and duplication, streamline processes and take out paper

where we can. Digital channels will be a major facilitator of achieving

these objectives.

  • The job holder must ensure the creation of one,

modern bank, by supporting the creation of one IT infrastructure, refining

and removing redundant processes and automating others to ensure we

deliver the best possible customer experience.

  • The predominant technology historically varies

market by market but a migration to a single, globally consistent GSP

platform is underway. Digital products must be delivered via GSP and migration

from legacy systems managed.

  • Accountable for the end-to-end customer

experience of the Digital products within the role holder’s portfolio.

  • Define and develop improvement opportunities

across customer experience, commercial product sales and digitally native

capabilities.

  • Define functional and deployment requirements, in

conjunction with Software Delivery, Change Delivery, Marketing and other

stakeholders to facilitate improved customer engagement.

  • Refine customer experience for new capabilities

in partnership with Group Marketing, Proposition, Multichannel, and other

key stakeholders.

  • Competive assessments: research new technologies

and services, assess competitors/new entrants, review regulations for Digital

requirements
