Field based, the role will cover Southampton, Sussex coast, Maidstone, Basingstoke, Guildford, Portsmouth, Hants and Surrey.

The role of the Regional Retirement Specialist is to provide specialist financial advice with personal recommendations to HSBC customers requiring retirement advice and guidance, it is truly hands on, both demonstrating and observing effective customer meetings.

This role is pivotal to the HSBC Specialist Retirement Advice proposition in providing support for Specialist Retirement Advice franchised consultants and technical advice in-line with the required Company and regulatory standards for pension switching and ‘At’ retirement advice.

The role responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking appropriate analysis of customers’ existing pensions in discover meetings, identifying opportunities and ensuring that customers’ needs are desires are captured to enable the report writing team to provide advice on pension switching and retirement options.
  • Communicating the specialist advice through the presentation of technically accurate, customer focused reports, written by the Retirement Advice Consultants.
  • Sharing best practice and providing guidance to colleagues within both the Centre and the field to aid their development and competency.
  • Providing technical assistance to the entire network on pension related questions.
