We are seeking Data Analysts to join our growing team of analysts and consultants at our site in Farnborough, working with our clients across government and industry to support key business decisions.
As a Data Analyst for BAE Systems CORDA, you will be responsible for developing and delivering analytical and business intelligence solutions for both our internal and external customers. You will work closely alongside our customers to ensure that effective solutions are developed and delivered to enable them to make robust, evidence based decisions.
This role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to apply your analytical skills to inform business decisions at all levels.
At BAE Systems CORDA, we combine technical capabilities in modelling and analysis with client-facing consultancy skills, to ensure we deliver high-impact advice based on robust evidence. We work across a range of sectors, including defence, transport, security and policing, as well as functions including Human Resources and Finance.

Your main responsibilities as Data Analysts will involve:
Working within or leading project teams to gather and interpret customer requirements to design and create analytical solutions
Undertaking detailed analysis which will drive meaningful results
Using analytical tools and software packages to provide insights to senior stakeholders
Growing and driving the organisations data analytics strategy
Developing and implementing tools and processes that inform business decisions
Communicating and presenting your findings to clients
Supporting the transfer of analytical and modelling capability into the clients’ organisation
Building client relationships and identifying opportunities to win new business
Your skills and qualifications as Data Analysts:
Knowledge and practical experience of data analytics tools (such as Alteryx, Tableau Desktop and Server, SQL) and programming languages (such as VBA, R, Python)
Delivery of analysis/consultancy projects
Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail
Ability to communicate technical solutions to a non-technical audience
A degree, masters or PhD in a numerate subject, or relevant experience to offset
For more senior positions, we expect your experience to include some or all of the following:
Identifying and winning new work
Managing projects to agreed budgets and timescales
Leading analytical teams and supporting/coaching more junior team members
Strong domain knowledge or experience of delivering analytics

You will have a proven track record in stakeholder engagement, being confident to work directly with clients and stakeholders.You must have good communication and interpersonal skills towards clients and internal project team.You should have the ability to effectively prioritise, demonstrate good time management, etc.
