Flight Control Software
Wouldyou like to provide engineering expertise in Flight Control Software to designand develop an air vehicle? We currently havean exciting vacancy for a Flight Control Software Specialist working with our highly experienced team in the cosmopolitan city of Ankara, Turkey.
This Role will involve contributing to the production andreview of development plans, schedules, assisting in the definition of softwareprocesses and selection of toolsets, supporting the development of resourceplans and influencing the evolution of the system architecture with a primefocus on the embedded software architecture and/or safety critical vehiclemanagement.
As the programme develops the post holder will be expectedto support requirements analysis, preliminary design activities and assist withthe Preliminary Design Review.
Your main responsibilitiesas a Flight Control Software will involve:
Contributionto a range of software planning activities
Supportto requirements analysis and preliminary design activities
Interfacingwith the customer and supporting them resolve software related issues
Developingestimates and scheduling tasks as required
Contributingto the development and specification of software processes, including selectionof appropriate engineering toolsets, with particular focus on embedding bestpractice
Influencethe evolution and development of system and software architectures
Your skills andqualifications:
Degree qualified orequivalent in an engineering related subject
Significant experienceworking in a complex, safety related/critical aerospace software developmentenvironment with suitable knowledge of full lifecycle development processes torecognised standards (eg RTCA DO-178B/C).
Experience in vehiclemanagement and/or software architectures for embedded systems (ideally of aService Oriented nature) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of modelbased systems/software engineering toolsets (MatLab, Simulink, SCADE)
Knowledge ofestimation tools and techniques (e.g. COCOMO, SEER)
