In this role you will be a lead Java developer in an agile, passionate and innovative development team that is delivering mobile app capabilities for our global workforce through an enterprise mobile App Store. Your role will be to help us deliver a modern digital distribution platform and transform the user experience into a modern consumer experience.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design across all systems
  • Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages with a minimum 8+ years’ experience developing Java based services (including restful web services)
  • Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices
  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture


As an experienced agile developer you should feel comfortable with MicroServices architecture design best practices, API taxonomy design, and service design tools such as Swagger (or similar). You will have used some of the following tools; Spring Boot, JUnit, Maven, Jenkins. Knowledge of native SQL and database optimization will benefit you as this role is heavy on content; storage and distribution. It is beneficial if you have already deployed applications to cloud technologies such as AWS or Pivotal CloudFoundry. Most importantly it is essential that you are passionate about innovating.
