Strategic Buyer - Additive Manufacture
Would you like a role within Procurement SupplyChain Shared Services Airframe team gained experience within AdditiveManufacturing? We currently have a vacancy for a Strategic Buyer - Additive Manufacture at our site in Samlesbury.
As a StrategicBuyer - Additive Manufacture, you will be working with all areas of thesupply chain to include Procurement, Manufacturing, engineering and the NewProduct and Process team; building relationships and actively supportingcollaboration across the teams
This role will provide you with exposure tointernal and external customers including suppliers, key stakeholders and willinterface across all functions.
Your main responsibilities as a Strategic Buyer- Additive Manufacture will involve:
Providing input to project scoping, capabilityof the technology, set up and delivery as well as playing an active part to thequalification of actual flying parts on all platforms
Ensuring that Additive Manufacturing Projectsare appropriate and aligned to the business objectives and understanding theimpact of the Project performance within the business
Supporting the development and implementationof Procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
Supporting regular reviews of internal &external performance metrics to achieve the business objectives providingmetric / data as required
Ensuring that risks to the programme areidentified and being mitigated
Supporting the delivery of cost savings acrossthe business and delivering the project on budget
Issuing of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Requestfor Quotations, Prepare negotiation strategies and negotiate and placecontracts / purchase order
Actively supporting preparation of procurementplans/documents to Support the Life Cycle Management review process
Your skills and qualifications as a StrategicBuyer - Additive Manufacture:
Strong Procurement Background within amanufacturing background
CIPS – completed at least at level 5-6
Experience of negotiating
Project Management experience
Experience of working within integrated teams
Additive Manufacturing knowledge or aspirationto develop in this area would be desirable
