We're looking for a Senior Security Specialist to join a growing team as Lloyds Banking Group transforms into a leading digital organisation. You'll shape and influence security guidance and help ensure that change is delivered both securely and at pace.
This role has a broad spectrum of responsibilities, which range from setting direction, influencing strategy, establishing clear guidance and representing IT Cyber Security at key governance and decision-making forums. Successful candidates will be involved in authoring key guidance documents such as strategies, guides, patterns, workbooks and technology roadmaps.
Your key accountabilities will include:
Authoring security patterns, Cloud guardrails and other guidance, based on internal security standards and industry best practice.
Assessing systems against internal security standards.
Working with a range of stakeholders, technical and non-technical.
Development, maintenance and enhancement of key Cyber Security Services; including: procedures, processes and associated templates and documentation as appropriate
Promoting knowledge sharing and education of Cyber Security
Maintain and awareness of new technologies or existing Cyber Security technologies
Risk identification and prioritisation
Maintains awareness of industry trends and initiatives for dissemination across the wider Security Community
What we'll need from you:
Broad understanding across Cyber Security domains
Awareness of Cyber Security trends, threats, and Industry best practise
Appreciation of Cloud Security and 3rd Party assurance issues
Experience of producing security patterns, guidance, or Cloud guardrails
Data Analysis
Experience of working with a range of information to provide insightful analysis to key stakeholders.
Experience of managing risk and facilitating the timely identification and remediation of operational risks within the team.
Experience of working with Audit and/or Risk teams including the remediation of issues identified in an audit.
