At Lloyds Banking Group, we're continuing to build the Bank of the Future; going through a period of huge technological and cultural transformation. As part of this change agenda, the skills and capabilities we need in the future, as a workforce, are evolving too. As a result, the way we recruit has never been more important and this is where you come in.

Want to know more?

As our Group Assessment & Selection Manager, you'll help shape the strategic direction of how we assess and then deliver the enhanced or new assessment solutions we'll need as an organisation.

You'll also be responsible for all the current tests, tools and guidance we use to select candidates (both internally and externally) across the thousands of hires we make each year. In addition, you will also be expected to help build capability across our hiring manager community, ensuring they select the best talent in a consistent, confident and compliant manner.

What we'll need from you:

You should have an Assessment background; ideally with a qualification in Occupational Psychology. You should also have experience of working within one or more large, complex organisations.

Capable of leading on key change initiatives, coupled with a very sound understanding of the external assessment market, you'll have lots of ideas on how we can continuously improve, at pace, our assessment proposition.

Finally, as you'll work closely with key colleagues across the People function, our wider business and external partners, you'll be able to demonstrate strong communication and relationship management skills.

What you'll get back from us:

In return for your expertise, you'll join an organisation that is passionate about its inclusive culture, personal and professional development, agile working practices and health and wellbeing. In short, we'll help you perform at your best today so you can fulfil all your potential in the future.

We'll offer you a competitive salary and a Group Performance Share award (it's what we call our bonus) and a range of other benefits. These include private health cover, share schemes, very generous pension contribution and the choice of industry leading flexible benefits (or 4% cash lump sum).

So if you'd welcome the opportunity to shape and deliver a recruitment assessment agenda on a huge scale, we'd like to hear from you.

Together we'll make it possible.

***There is a base salary range as published for this role but, depending on location and experience, we may be able to pay slightly more on the base***
