For our Consumer & Brand Experience team in Global Studio’s, London we are therefore looking for a Manager, SEO Strategy.

In this position you will be responsible for establishing global multi-category SEO strategies and deploying relevant toolboxes to expand reach and grow organic traffic. You'll be responsible for delivering impactful experiences to our consumers through search engine optimization. You will work with multiple partners and find solutions to address customer problems, see opportunities and address them with scalable solutions.

This challenging yet rewarding role will have a direct impact in commercializing reduced risk products in key markets online and moving PMI towards a smoke-free future.


YOU WILL:

  • Map organic search journeys to ensure content is topically relevant and optimized.

  • Identify relevant audiences and competitors for different categories.

  • Review how consumers search, identify keyword targets, prepare content briefs and provide content optimization strategy and recommendations to content producers to help with acquisition and retention.

  • Work closely with the Brand Communications Strategy team to ensure SEO is engrained across all content projects and make sure that content and web assets are well-optimized for search.

  • Prepare content SEO strategy and build toolboxes for regional hubs to improve brand and non-brand organic search visibility.

  • Communicate the plan for rolling out content marketing initiatives, monitor SEO efforts in key markets and report results to internal partners at PMI.

  • Project manage activities related to SEO strategy to support new product launches.

  • Define content gap analysis process to help identifying new content opportunities and answer consumer’s questions.

  • Carry out in-depth topic analysis using NLP and machine learning technologies.

  • Develop content dashboards and reporting standards for communicating the success of content initiatives during all stages of the funnel.

  • Prioritize content projects based on return on investment for cross-functional partners, digital deployment team and local markets.

  • Maintain SEO-friendly standard methodologies for copywriters and content agencies.

  • Have hands on experience with SEO tracking tools, analytic frameworks and monitoring data quality.

  • Build SEO standard methodology training programs for internal and regional partners, including local marketing managers, traveling to local markets as needed.

  • Manage agency resources, evaluate agency deliverables and performance.


WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:


  • A passion for SEO with significant experience in SEO strategy and content optimization.

  • Experience in SEO for a global brand or large agency.

  • Handling / coordinating SEO related projects with strong understanding of SEO techniques and performance metrics.

  • Experience on global SEO projects and can navigate in a matrixed organization.

  • Ability to communicate SEO best practices to key partners who may not have a background in search engine optimization.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and analytical skills.

  • Proven track record to run multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.

  • Decent experience of technical SEO, outreach and link building.

  • People management experience and great communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration.

  • Previous experience as an SEO strategist, content marketer or content-focused SEO at an established brand or agency.

  • Previous experience using Google analytics, Google search console, SEMRush, Ahrefs and/or Conductor.

  • Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications.
