We are looking for an experienced programme manager who can flex from being strategic to tactical, and from being creative to pragmatic and analytical. To join our team, you will need to have a strong background in program management for digital products and service experiences.

You will report to the overall Programme Manager. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and implementation of scalable agile programme management solutions that support technical and non-technical delivery patterns
  • Design and implementation of Due diligence and Control related patterns to support agile implementation in a commercial environment
  • Design, development and implementation of a flexible agile programme framework supporting empirically driven planning and execution
  • Ability to operate and educate at a grass-roots “coach” level for scrum teams up to defining strategic engagement with COO
  • Thorough understanding of the integration/implementation of Agile governance and practice within an existing organisation (transformation)
  • Thorough understanding of and ability to implement patterns to drive Agile product delivery
  • Good understanding of CICD and DevOps
  • Designing of aspirational roadmaps and empirically supported plans
  • Design and implementation of metric driven reporting to determine health and performance of the programme
  • Coordinating the implementation of Atlassian tooling to facilitate agile team development and delivery and subsequent reporting
  • Definition and implementation of programme management standards across differing disciplines within an organisation

Skills:

  • Experience in leading one of the scalable Agile frameworks design and application (LeSS, SAFe, DA etc)
  • Extensive Agile project management experience
  • Solid understanding of the holistic Agile toolset, from implementing basic scrum patterns to enterprise scale delivery patterns and concepts
  • Solid understanding of the various types of Agile project lifecycle
  • Experience of working within a structured project management framework
  • Extensive experience identifying and building value streams and developing and leading cross-functional teams
  • Capable of operating at grass roots level to define cross-functional team practice up to the design and implementation of strategic scaled design
  • Extensive experience (power user) with Atlassian products (JIRA and Confluence)
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Understanding of the importance for detail and organization
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong program management/stakeholder engagement skills
