Early Careers & Skills Coordinator

An excellent opportunity has risen to join our Early Careers team at the Aircraft Maintenance Academy, Humberside Airport in the role of Early Careers & Skills Coordinator.

As an Early Careers & Skills Coordinator, you will be report directly to the Training Manager and will provide key support and administrative activities. As well as acting as the first point of communication for learners.

This varied and challenging role will also provide you with the opportunity to develop your careers with the Early Careers team into more specialist skilled roles as well as within the wider BAE.

Your main responsibilities as an Early Careers & Skills Coordinator will involve:

Line leadership of Apprentices including welfare coordination.

Coordination of all support processes required for all training courses at the academy

Line management of a small administrative team

Leading on co-ordination of learner registration, progress monitoring, certification activity and internal / external meetings.

Monitoring and ensuring funding and success performance against KPIs are on track and take corrective action as required.

Monitoring and ensuring assessment practices and delivery processes are compliant with awarding body/ partner requirements.

Leading additional activities e.g. recruitment process, induction process and internal/ external celebration events.

Providing support to Early Careers delivery teams and Management.

Analysing and updating Management Information Systems and reports to support the Early Careers & Skills programmes.

Your skills and qualifications:

Experience gained working within an Early Careers or Education setting

Proven experience gained within a similar role

Specialist knowledge of legislative, awarding body and funding systems requirements.

Broad understanding of the Early Careers & Skills business operation.

A professional with a track record of occupational competence.

Highly IT Literate – MS Office
