About Network Rail
You will be providing day to day operational management of Workforce Development Centres by supporting the National Training Manager by co-ordinating the implementation of the training delivery plan. Provision of advice to resolve queries on Workforce Development Centre operating processes, policies and systems and coordination of Continuous Improvement activity.Acting as Deputy for the National Training Manager as required.
The successful candidate will need to have line manager experience and you will have 3 direct reports.
About the role (External)
1.Manage the administration processes and procedures supporting the delivery of training interventions, which incorporates prioritising and allocation of training administration activities for team of administrators.
2.Management of Training Competence data collection, accuracy, and reporting of management information.
3.Support the annual training statement of requirement process, manage reactive changes to the training plan and coordinate the candidate feedback process, and act as routine focal point for Training Planning and Scheduling Team.
4.Quality Control and Continuous Improvement champion for processes and procedures associated with training delivery and the operation of training centres.
5.Act as the Customer Service Champion within the Workforce Development Centre environment.
6.Management of all transactional financial activity, assurance procedures and period reporting associated in support of the Cost Centre Manager.
7.Management of the Asset management Inventory for all resources within Workforce Development Centre and satellite facilities (including Pool vehicles).
8.Deputise for National Training Manager on duties relating to the operational running of the Workforce Development Centre, with exception of direct people management activity.
