Capability Owner – Supply Chain and Partners
Would you like to play a pivotal role supporting major systems upgrades and introduction of new technology supporting our Supply Chain Capability area for IM&T? We currently have a vacancy for a Capability Owner at any of our Land UK Sites (Glascoed – S. Wales (Preferred), Radway Green – Cheshire or Washington – County Durham).
As a Capability Owner, you will be primarily be focused on the Capability area of Supply Chain, you will be involved in major system upgrades and introduction of new functionality including the latest digital technologies. The role will also involve incident resolution, licence management, managing support contracts, supporting business adoption and identifying opportunities for solution re-use.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to support a major systems upgrade for the business (upgrading to SAP S4) and you will play a key role in this working with key stakeholders across the business. This will give you good exposure to the business as a whole. Working in a small team you will also work with others covering the other capability areas covered by the team.
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS FOR A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT
Your main responsibilities as a Capability Owner – Supply Chain and Partners will involve:
Supporting the delivery of major application change, large system upgrades and introduction of new capability
Delivery of new functionality including the documenting of requirements, design reviews, test management, implementation and benefits realisation
Ensuring appropriate documentation of applications, procedures and work instructions exist.
Supporting the development of Key users, providing expert support and leading key user groups.
Reviewing small change requests for validity/feasibility and support their progression through the relevant process
Promoting the sharing of best practice and solution re-use across Land UK & Weapons (and wider where appropriate)
Your skills and qualifications:
Experience/Knowledge in the area of Supply chain.
Experience using SAP in particular materials management, production planning, or warehouse management modules
Knowledge and experience of working in an IT environment
Knowledge of SAP S4.
Knowledge of current IT technologies.

Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum
