Who are we looking for?
We are looking for applicants with a proven track engineering background, with experience of systems engineering, and who has the ability to work across several functions to provide consultative advice and support for the delivery of engineering and innovation projects for our customers.
This is a superb opportunity for the right candidate to be part of a close-knit and interactive team as a Senior Engineer in the Track Team!
About the role (External)
What does the day to day look like?
To support the portfolio of projects, you will be setting policies, operational processes and standards, and confirming the delivery and implementation of innovation projects. You will ensure the services that we provide to our customers are delivered to the agreed standards in terms of time, cost and quality. All the design and delivery aspects of the programmes will be handled by you and should be within the Network Rail competencies and competency framework.
There are development opportunities where you will provide support for strategy, asset management and technology across the functions and working with internal and external partners. The type of work you do will vary dependent on the projects you are involved in however what underpins every project is the interactions between internal partners and the external teams. Handling those complex relationships in a logical and timely manner is the key to ensure projects are meeting the criteria required.

This role can be based from any of the Network Rail offices with occasional travel as required.

Network Rail adheres to a structured pay framework, any salary offered will be within the following pay range: £51,156 - £57,551
