Duration: Permanent. This role is a full-time opportunity, but flexible working patterns will be considered.
Location: This role is based at The Quadrant:MK. To be considered for this role, candidates are required to live within 75 minutes of The Quadrant Milton Keynes.

Brief Description
Provide a business process support service to the Certification Delivery Teams to achieve consistent application of NCB's certification delivery business processes and supporting effective resource allocation and utilisation reporting.About the role (External)
About the function…
Network Certification Body (NCB) is a dynamic independent company within the Network Rail Group. We provide infrastructure and rail vehicle assessment services in the UK and Europe and we're growing to meet the needs of this expanding market. We provide a comprehensive range of certification services, covering all the legislation that a rail engineering project requires, and we need talented people like you to join us. You'll develop your career whilst playing a key role in the safety of the operational railway of the future.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone with previous experience in co-ordinating resources in order to support the Certification Delivery Team and other users on the use of NCB's business systems. We're looking for someone initiative to develop and implement improvements to NCBs business processes. We're also looking for someone highly organised and accurate attention to detail, to maintain NCB databases, records and resource scheduling systems. The role will also involve attending Network Rail meetings and forums as a representative for the NCB Certification Delivery function, to provide advice on the implications and risks that proposed system changes may cause, so we're looking for someone with excellent communication skills.
What does the average day look like?
Working with the project managers and engineers to ensure maximum resource utilisation across the business and ensuring the consistent application of our business processes, recommending changes to and improving those processes to make them lean and efficient. Generating business reports. Working the conformance delivery management team providing critical input to key business decision making.
What essential skills and experiences are required?
Experience of using resource management processes and systems
Extensive experience of scheduling and coordinating resources
Able to effectively communicate at all levels across the business
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to understand and apply business process mapping techniques
We would also like, but not essential.
Experience of CSM / NoBo DeBo assessment projects and programmes
Experience in using BST 10
Experience in working within the Railway Industry
