The team is responsible for training and coaching Client Advisors, Internal Client Advisors, Investment Specialists, Investment Professionals and Client Service teams to be client ready. Specifically, this role will be responsible for program management of a suite of training programs within our Asset Management Training Strategy. Additionally this role with be responsible for either the design of programs or the delivery of workshops and coaching sessions. Interest and skill in helping professionals become more productive and trusted Advisors and Solutions Specialists is paramount.

Principal Job Responsibilities

As a Program Manager you will play a key role in managing and executing training programs, but will also provide insight for continual improvement.

  • Act as a program manager to analyze needs, design, and execute training programs, which includes building relationships with stakeholders, performance consulting, management of project plans / timelines, measuring business impact and driving continuous learning.
  • Help drive implementation of our Asset Management Training Strategy. This includes, but is not limited to a specific focus on developing, designing and delivering content for our continuing education modules:
    • Engage business stakeholders and subject matter experts to shape core content, assessments, exercises, and workshops
    • Ensure content builds on foundational programs, serves as a bridge to more advanced content, and will help Client Advisors and Investment Specialists more confidently engage with and create solutions for our clients and prospects
    • Coach content creators on presentation relevance and impact
    • Host and deliver workshops
    • Define and measure key metrics to help assess impact and success of new initiatives
    • Work with Client Skills Team to define new programs and workshops
    • Work closely with our Training Coordinators to plan and coordinate all logistics and help to measure the success of our programs
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, clients and HR partners to drive the our Training Strategy
  • Use digital learning to provide high-touch communication and enhance in-person offerings in an evolving learning environment
  • Manage budget and oversee expense tracking as you deliver programs and content within our agenda
  • Design new content and refresh existing content and / or facilitate workshops and coach Client Advisors
  • Work with key control partners to ensure processes, suppliers, and content meets our standards
  • Periodic domestic & Continental European travel may be required but will be limited

This role will be based in the hub location of London for the Asset Management Client Skills Training Team

  • Business or education experience in financial services/wealth management; knowledge of investments a plus
  • Willingness to travel for training programs (as necessary)

Qualifications

  • B.A. degree in related field; advanced degree, coaching or instructional design certification are desirable
  • Strong commercial orientation and first hand client-facing experience required; sales or business role experience is a must
  • 5+ years’ work experience; learning and development background, and/or experience in Asset Management business is desired
  • Solution-oriented with strong interpersonal, consultative, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop and implement new initiatives
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders and key stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate team’s vision and strategy
  • Leadership presence to interact confidently with senior executives
  • Strong project management skills; robust organization, attention to detail and time management skills in a multicultural and international environment
