Energy Trader (Natural Gas)

Join our growing energy franchise as a Natural Gas Trader, based in our London office.

You will be responsible for the pricing and execution of gas trades throughout European and international gas markets. You will be expected to develop trade ideas and work with the analysts to form the desk trading strategy. You will also be responsible for leading the model development and staying on top of market news flow.

You will bring experience from a previous Trading role and familiarity with European and international gas markets.

It would be useful to have studied a quantitative degree and you will certainly need an understanding of the following;

    • Fundamental gas market modelling experience.
    • 2-5 years of trading experience.
    • Proven PnL record and ability to develop trade ideas.
    • Fundamental LNG market modelling experience.
    • Programming (ideally using Python).
