Cybersecurity Technology Controls team has an exciting opportunity for the position of Vice President (VP) focusing on data governance & privacy to drive policy change management & regulatory change management while partnering with education and communications teams. The VP will assist in maintaining standards coverage and ensuring compliance with GDPR, LGPD and other emerging laws. The role will also support efforts to strengthen and improve communications on top privacy regulatory risks, trends and issues from a technology perspective. This role will also assist with privacy initiatives as they pertain to technology. This role will be based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities of the Position:

§ Stay current on relevant privacy laws, regulations, and best practices

§ Evaluate and enhance data privacy guidance to technology teams when changes in laws, regulations, or company policy apply

§ Assist with the development and maintenance of privacy policies, technology data governance standards, and guidance materials for the organization

§ Support organization-wide privacy projects and data protection impact assessments

§ Prepare and communicate status, issues, and key decisions to project stakeholders and executives

§ Collaborate across the organization to streamline support model

§ Ensure successful delivery of projects utilizing core project management disciplines

§ Lead meetings, prepare agendas and meeting minutes, and facilitate the completion of action items

§ Support data use initiatives and assist with managing working group forums, attending meetings and developing strategies pertaining to use of data

§ Assist with developing executive level communications, including presentations to committees and forums

§ Assist business Privacy Lead with privacy incidents in accordance with policies and procedures

Qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience

§ Minimum 4+ years of related experience; Financial Services or Regulatory experience preferred

§ Understanding of global privacy laws, regulations and compliance requirements

§ Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification preferred

§ Leadership experience with proven ability to gain commitment and influence change

§ Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

§ Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

§ Strong project management skills, with experience managing large-scale and time sensitive projects

§ Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other reporting tools
