Mott MacDonald are undergoing an exciting and challenging transformation in the way we manage our people. To enable this transformation we are implementing SAP SuccessFactors, our new Human Capital Management (HCM) system known internally as 'Connect People', working with EY as our implementation partners.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of people systems to join our team, supporting the implementation of Connect People and building the governance, structure and processes required for our people systems team to enable our business.

As Head of people systems, you will be responsible for:

Understanding and governing the entire HR technology landscape and business system interactions
Transitioning the implementation of Connect People from project to BAU
Leading a team of Product owners and System advisors in all aspects of day to day management of our people systems
Acting as technical lead for all platform and cross product related improvements and functionality
Appropriate governance of access to HR technology and data in line with GDPR principles
Partnering with our HR Leadership team to proactively manage system requirements to support the operational business
Representing the HR function in various other forums where there is an interface to HR systems and the Mott MacDonald business systems landscape (e.g. IT, Finance, Payroll etc.)
Tracking and prioritizing business change requests - ensuring alignment of system development with People strategy and stakeholders
Coordination the activities of the Test and release manager and Product owners to plan the roadmap for continuous improvement and enhanced adoption of HR products and services
Partnering with SAP SuccessFactors Customer Success Manager and Customer Engagement Manager
Development of the HR Technology team (i.e. skills, knowledge, understanding and career/succession planning)

Implementing and operating SAP Successfactors / HRIS / HCM solutions
Collaborative approach to senior stakeholder management

Acting as an agent of change, supporting the adoption (rather than adaption) of new ways of working

It would be advantageous if the successful candidate had previous experience of:

A range of SAP SuccessFactors modules (e.g. EC, Learning Management, Recruitment, Talent etc)
ServiceNow or similar
DocuSign or similar
Reporting and Data Extraction/Manipulation Tools
