The DACH team is looking for a high-energy tech-savvy lead generation professional to increase its footprint for Customer Identity (CIAM) in the region. You will become a founding member of a team on its CIAM journey and uncover some of the largest sales opportunities. We're looking for professionals with a passion for technology and software development and prior lead generation or sales prospecting experience. An engineering degree and/or DevOps experience would be a big plus for this role.

For this specific position we are looking for a German speaker to be based in our Munich office, we are offering relocation for those who are currently based outside of Germany.

As a Sales Development Representative you will

  • Uncover and approach prospects to generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
  • Conduct technical qualifications with Software Developers, DevOps Engineers, Platform Specialists, Product Managers, VP of Engineering, CTO, etc. in prospect accounts
  • Work with assigned Account Executives and help them create and prioritize strategic target account lists for CIAM
  • Work with Key Technology Partners (AWS, Workplace by Facebook, VMWare, etc.)
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e.: profiling accounts and identifying new triggers, adding contacts, targeted emails, strategic calling, LinkedIn social selling, video selling, etc.)
  • Evangelize Okta and the need for Customer Identity and Access Management solutions
  • Achieve monthly quotas of meetings scheduled and qualified opportunities

You would be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Previous prospecting experience
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude
  • Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Experience of working directly with 2 or 3 Account Executives
  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product sale
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills
  • Creativity and a capacity to always look for new ways of prospecting
  • A proven-track record of achieving monthly quotas and Daily KPIs (number of dials, conversations, emails, etc.)

You might also have:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Experience working with DevOps, Developers, CIAM specialists is a big plus
  • Salesforce.com and Outreach softwares experience is a plus
  • Fluency in another European language
