About the Company:

Pentalver is an award-winning container logistics company with over 30 years’ experience. We are currently recruiting for a Container Painter and Finisher to join our team at an exciting time of growth. With a new state of the art production facility under construction and recent investment in sales and marketing capability we are looking for the right individual to support the Container Conversion team

As a Container Painter and Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that all containers are repaired, sprayed and finished in accordance with client’s requirements.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a basic week of 40 hours (Monday – Friday). Occasionally you may be required to work additional hours, including Saturdays to suit the business needs and therefore flexibility is required.

Container Painter and Finisher Responsibilities:

  • Ensure containers are prepared to a high standard.
  • Perform final inspection of finished containers, ensuring all requirements have been fulfilled on the job prior to container leaving the workshop.
  • Pressure washing of containers.
  • Minor repairs of containers when required.
  • Effective and appropriate use of tools/equipment in the correct manner including but not limited to hand-held power tools and pressure washers.
  • Ensure Company H&S policies and procedures are followed

Container Painter and Finisher Requirements:

  • Due to the nature of the job, ability to perform tasks of a physical nature.
  • Previous experience in the application of paints by air gun (pump) or by hand.
  • Understanding of how to mix different paints.
  • Basic understanding of DIY.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor setting.
  • Ability to work well in a busy environment.
  • A mature approach to H&S requirements and understanding of COSHH substances.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills using general workshop tools.
  • Flexible to work outside normal business hours and overtime when needed.
