We’re looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Trading & Market Data team, working hand in hand with a variety of teams across Iress to best represent our products and services to clients. You’ll become an SME on our trading & market data offerings, engaging with both existing and prospective clients throughout all stages of the sales cycle from qualification, to demonstration and solution presentation to close.

In order to best support our clients and ensure we’re positioned as the market leader in our space, you’ll work together with our Client Solutions team to recommend the most appropriate technical solutions, developing a solid understanding of their individual market data and related infrastructure needs. You’ll be responsible for documenting client requirements and customisations required prior to final solution design and sign off, as well as developing and maintaining supporting sales documentation and presentations.
Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to the success of this role as you’ll be getting involved in client pitches and demo’s to support our Business Development Managers.

An understanding of the trading & market data domain is key, and you’ll have previous experience working with trading platforms and solutions in a client-facing role. A background working in solution sales, ideally with a technical focus would be ideal and you’ll bring a practical understanding of client business demands and operating models across financial markets. Your communication skills should be second to none and you'll be confident liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on delivering real quality.
