Salary: £51,750 per annum to £76,000 per annum

About the Job:

As IS Operations Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of IT Services and Infrastructure, incorporating Service Delivery, Networks and Infrastructure, and Systems Operation and lifecycle management. You will be supporting a user base of around 6,200, with upwards of 11,000 connected devices and a fleet of 200 digital trains.

You will be responsible for maintaining an up to date Service Catalogue and SLAs to support service delivery and will also be working on a series of technology refresh phases.

Your team will also be responsible for the technical platform that provides security from Cyber Attack and you will work closely with the Cyber Security and Compliance Manager to help to maintain Cyber Security Awareness throughout the business.

About you:

To meet the requirements of the role, you will need to;

  • Have excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills;
  • work as part of a team;
  • exercise attention to detail;
  • display superior organisational, planning and analysis skills;
  • have knowledge of Human Resources practices;
  • have leadership, people, financial literacy, multi-tasking and creativity skills;
  • have knowledge of MS Office software and Web;
  • work well to deadlines and under pressure;

You will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a Topic Relevant to the Industry
