Job Description

Our Team

Alternatives Team is a main point of contact for all operational activities for Hedge Funds & Private Equity for the International Private Bank. The primary responsibility of this team is to support the Hedge Fund & Private Equity businesses in ASIA, EMEA & LATAM regions. There is also a hub based in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

The Hedge Fund Transfers Team is responsible for all non-Suisse platform transfers, free of payment for all Internal (or Sponsored) Hedge Funds. Internal Hedge Funds are funds which JPMorgan perform due diligence and market to our ultra high net worth & high net worth clients. Typical BAU tasks include:

  • Full end to end Hedge Fund transfer lifecycle process from ticket inception to closure which includes completing various transfer pre-checks, preparation of instruction documentation and liaising with various fund administrators
  • Daily interaction with investors, front office, custodians, fund administrators and various internal stakeholders to answer queries and resolve issues
  • Completion of Hedge Fund final allocation process. Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all Internal Hedge Fund Subscription trades
  • Run daily and periodic risk controls
  • Offer support to the project agenda in order to meet changing industry and regulatory requirements. Driving efficiency gains and risk reduction within the team through ad-hoc & strategic projects
