F-35 UK Sustainment ALIS Data Configuration Specialist
Would you like to play a key role in the safe delivery of the Maintenance Capability for UK Freedom of Action, for F-35 Aircraft? We currently have a vacancy for an F-35 UK Sustainment ALIS Data Configuration Specialist at our site in RAF Marham.
As a F-35 UK Sustainment ALIS Data Configuration Specialist, you will be supporting the maintenance organisation in the recording and co-ordination of work undertaken and will be accountable to the Technical Record Specialist in the Data Management Cell (DMC) and Aircraft Maintenance Team Leaders for the correct transfer of information across the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and Maintenance Control System (MCS).
This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to support the 5th generation of stealth fighter aircraft and deliver this capability in the UK within a purpose-built facility. As a part of US Programmes Sustainment, BAE Systems provides sustainment and maintenance delivery at RAF Marham to ensure the customer has mission capable aircraft for UK National Defence.
Your main responsibilities as an F-35 UK Sustainment ALIS Data Configuration Specialist will involve:
Reporting to the Maintenance Planning & Support Manager, through the Technical Records Specialist, you will play a key role in the timely delivery of finished maintenance packages; ensuring mission capable platforms are available to the customer and UK National Defence.
Maintaining the integrity of aircraft maintenance records across MCS and ALIS ensuring the completeness of the information and configuration of the aircraft within ALIS the aircraft system of record.
Upholding and enhancing the reputation of BAE Systems F-35 Sustainment Delivery and our ability, to further, develop our relationship with the UK customer.
Understanding the commercial implications for non-adherence to KPIs.
Understanding the impact deliverables have, to affect multiple areas within the UK Ministry of Defence, Joint Project Office, Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems.
Your skills and qualifications:
Proven work experience within an aircraft maintenance organisation (military and/or civilian).
Understanding of aircraft documentation and the importance of system of record integrity in support of continuing airworthiness.
Understanding of the Part 145 maintenance concept and approach.
Must be able to demonstrate key stakeholder engagement skills and can work proactively both individually and as part of a wider team.
Proven work experience of working on the F-35 Aircraft.
Proven work experience of working with ALIS and Integrated Maintenance System (IMS).
