An opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join the Mortgages Portfolio area, working within the Pricing & Performance team.

This role offers the opportunity to become a key member of the Mortgages Business (circa £300bn assets and a key driver of Retail and Group P&L), specifically as part of the forecasting team, reporting through to the Portfolio Senior Manager.


As Mortgages forms a significant part of the Group, this role brings exposure to commercial and finance directors through weekly, monthly and quarterly cycles. This gives an exciting mix of fast pace insight generation to support decision making along with involvement in trading, reporting, and forecasting. This opportunity would present any successful individual with an ideal opportunity to gain exposure to the Mortgage business and develop a deep understanding of its underlying drivers and dynamics.

To succeed in this role you will support with the deployment and development of appropriate portfolio management processes and tools that help reflect the underlying drivers and dynamics underpinning the Mortgage Market and LBG’s participation. The successful individual will be required to ensure robust governance exists around all processes and tools developed helping to build credibility and reliance.

If you enjoy stakeholder and relationship management, you will also work closely with and build exceptionally strong relationships across a whole host of different teams including Products, Community Banks, Intermediaries, Operations, Credit Risk and Finance.

You will require a strong delivery focus with a strong desire to deliver lasting and meaningful change into the business. Individuals will also be required to have strong analytical skill set with ability to shape and solve complex problems / the ability to think through complex issues.
