With the PC market moving high speed towards device as a service solutions, we
see major growth opportunity for the company as well as for our people in
expanding our Warranty and Professional Services business. In Lenovo PC
Services sales is recognized under several major development areas for our
overall business. Having these priorities in mind we are looking for
exceptional candidates into the role of LanSchool Channel Services Business
Development Manager

As a LanSchool Channel Services Business Development Manager you will be
responsible for driving LanSchool Classroom Management Software through
Channel sales. Maximize the opportunities to lead the growth. You will work
with the channel sales, marketing, Business Partners for the achievement of
revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and long-term account goals in line
with company vision and values.

LanSchool Classroom Management software keeps students engaged and learning,
in a safe digital environment. LanSchool promotes collaborative learning,
minimizes distractions, and allows teachers to focus on what they do best…
teach!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • To drive and manage LanSchool Classroom Management Software Sales in covered
    market.
  • Develop annual business plan in conjunction with Channel Sales Manager,
    which details activities to follow during the fiscal year that lead to meeting
    or exceeding sales quota.
  • Conduct Business Reviews and quarterly campaign planning, set clear goals
    and objectives to maximize sell out and grow services sales pipelines.
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge that lead to in-
    depth presentation of products.
  • Have complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
  • Decide, execute and manage promotional activities (programmed and ad-hoc) to
    drive on significant sales growth.
  • Provide clear actions and directions to the internal Channel Sales team and
    Business Partners on the development and implementation of unique incentives,
    promotions, events, etc. to drive incremental services quoting activity.
  • Provide training both to channel sales team and business Partners sales
    floor/accounts - including Services briefing, product update, services sales
    training, etc.
  • Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the
    taking of market share from competitors.
  • Support channel sales and BPs to sell consultatively and makes of the
    various solutions that resolve clients’ issues.

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years in Software Sales Environment, ideally in Education market
  • Strong sales acumen, being able to set clear targets with tactical
    objectives
  • Being able to ensure effective communication to the senior management within
    Lenovo and your accounts
