Would you like to play a key role supporting our USP and Shared Services programmes. We currently have a vacancy for a Project Control Team Lead USP at our site in Samlesbury.
As a Project Control Team Lead USP, you will support the Carbon business through the provision of accurate, timely and informative project information in order to allow the business to understand its performance, areas of concern and corrective action plans where necessary. You will be responsible for reporting to a wide range of stakeholders within BAE Systems.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to interface with multiple customers internally and internationally. This will be a challenging operational role to meet cost and schedule targets and you will be given the opportunity to utilise and develop a range of PM skills, with excellent career progression prospects through the PM projects.
Your main responsibilities as a Project Control Team Lead USP will involve:
Setting up, building and maintaining an appropriate and robust Performance Measurement Baselines across several contracts for each CAM area of responsibility (set up of WBS, CA’s, CCNs etc)
Setting up, managing and reporting across all key Project Control activities such as:
- Schedule and Quality,
- EV System inputs and outputs
Adherence to Production Control System Design Framework
- Risk & Opportunities
- Monthly / Quarterly EAC refreshes
- Integrated Business Reviews (IBR’s)
Provision and delivery of accurate and useful performance and reporting information (cost, schedule, risk, etc) to the project leads and CAMs
Leading CAM level reviews and support/lead at Project / contract Reviews
Strong demonstrated PM background and knowledge of the PCSD (Production Control System Design Framework)
As a Project Control Team Lead USP working within a fast-paced organisation, you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and integrate at all levels within the F-35 business. You will be highly numerate and literate with an ability to manipulate and interpret large quantities of data and have the ability to prioritise own & team’s workload. You will be a high-motivated leader and will have the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders within a multi-functional environment.
