Working with the team to express complex financial regulation into a domain-specific rule language. Communicating with developers, product management, and other team members. regarding modifications and enhancements to our service-driven by regulatory change. Proactively taking initiative on daily routines and work practices of the team to ensure tasks are delivered on. Improving our processes to help us operate more efficiently and GSD (get sh*t done!) Promoting and ensuring best practices for the team are documented around the coding and testing of regulation. Researching and keeping on top of next gen-tech which the team could utilise.
Background in a technical, quantitative, compliance, regulatory or business analyst role Knowledge of financial instruments (equities, bonds, derivatives etc) Critical thinker with solid analytical problem-solving skills You're great at explaining things to people and have flawless written English. You have a precise and logical approach to your work
Experience in the investment management compliance industry Experience or interest in scripting, e.g. VBA, SQL, ruby, python, to code and test rules Experience or interest in acceptance testing, test-driven development or behaviour-driven development Experience in SaaS, RegTech or FinTech company

The Content team is responsible for reviewing and analysing financial regulations and translating these regulations into algorithms. You’ll naturally take initiative and have the opportunity to work across our existing global client base with queries related to the interpretation of compliance regulations across 102 jurisdictions, as well as working directly with Allen & Overy, our legal information provider. This role merges delivery and a unique mix of finance, law, and technology. You will get your hands dirty, continuously raise the bar and help code rules directly into our rules engine. You’ll also work with the development team to enhance the functionality and scope of the rules.
