So, what are we looking for?
As our Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Microsoft) at TfGM you will be responsible for continuously improving the infrastructure, developing, deploying and managing Microsoft environments, help engineers work more efficiently and improve the tools that TfGM already deploys. In this role you will help resolve issues that occur and be proactive in supporting teams and find innovative solutions. You will also be involved in contributing your ideas to platform architecture and design to drive continuous improvement.
You will be able to demonstrate the skills and experience in the following key areas:
- Strong experience as a Microsoft Engineer (OnPrem and cloud), preferably from an infrastructure background (System Engineer, Infrastructure engineer)
- Advanced experience with public and private clouds
- Advanced knowledge of managing and maintaining a secure business productivity and collaboration tools. (Microsoft 365)
- Excellent experience in using identity and security services (Azure AD, etc)
- Excellent experience in service monitoring tools
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, AWS, Azure, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Jira, Networking, scripting (PowerShell, json, Python), Microsoft and Linux operating systems
- Experience of managing project workstreams and engineers
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £51,252 - £57,688 per annum with an additional £2,400 per annum paid as a market supplement. Salary will be based upon skills and experience.
The market supplement is paid monthly and will be reviewed in December 2020.
