Summary

The National Cyber Force (NCF) is a new defence and intelligence partnership between GCHQ and MoD that conducts cyber operations to disrupt adversaries, including hostile state activity, terrorists, criminals and child sexual abuse. SIS and Dstl are also core partners, bringing cutting edge espionage and research techniques.

We are looking for people to register an expression of interest for roles that are available now and in the future within Dstl supporting the NCF.

Job description

Dstl, working alongside GCHQ, MOD and SIS as core partners of the National Cyber Force designs and delivers cyber operations to support the UK’s national security priorities, from supporting military operations to countering serious crime to combatting terrorism.

Additional Information

Things you need to know

Security

Successful candidates must pass a disclosure and barring security check.
Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed. The level of security needed is developed vetting.
People working with government assets must complete basic personnel security standard checks.

Selection process details

When new opportunities are available that match your skills and experience the recruitment process, if successful at each stage, will be as follows:

  • Telephone Interview: A short discussion about your application with the opportunity for you to discuss the different roles on offer (20 – 30 mins)
  • A further formal interview will follow if successful following the initial telephone interview, more details will be provided dependent on the role

    Feedback will only be provided if you attend an interview or assessment.
