35 hours a week.

About the Job:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the team at Liverpool Lime Street as a Station Operations Controller. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely information on train movements and platform alterations. The Station Operations Controller role will require local knowledge as this is critical to the role, you will be liaising with platform supervisors, dispatch staff and Network Rail/other TOC’s.

Key duties of this role include:

Liaising with Manchester control NWR.

Advising Team Leaders and platform staff promptly of any unit and platform alterations.

Liaising directly with Control and signaling teams, as well as the train crew depot manager regarding train crew shortages and advise station staff accordingly.

Keeping an accurate record of any train delays that occur at the station and the provide reasons/data sheets to capture this information.
