Salary - £59,250 per annum rising to £61,500 per annum in year three

About the role:

The Operations Manager, is inviting applications from individuals with a minimum of 4 years train driving experience, who are interested in the challenging role of Driver Team Manager based at Leeds.

In this challenging and exciting role you’ll lead and direct all traincrew operational, safety and people management activities to enable the team to deliver high standards of quality and customer service. You’ll maintain our competence management system for drivers, promote and foster a positive safety culture and motivate your team to our operational and performance standards.

About you:

To fulfil this highly responsible role, you’ll need:
  • Excellent people management and communication skills
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Extensive train driving experience
  • To obtain or be willing to work towards your assessor qualifications
  • A full, current driving licence
  • To work across shift patterns incorporating weekends and evenings
  • A sound management understanding of HR and safety policy implementation
  • A desire to deliver excellent customer service

This role is safety critical.
