We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to focus on Acquisition
Sales and join the EPS team. We see a lot of business opportunities across the
South region and we will trust you to identify potential customers, develop
trustworthy relationships and build Lenovo’s portfolio. You will represent our
brand and collaborate with the other internal sales teams to grow Lenovo’s
market share- the perfect way to boost your commercial skills.

Your detailed responsibilities are:

  • You nurture relationships of trust with the accounts in your designated
areas- you provide proactive follow-up, product information and manage their
needs and expectations
  • You acquire and enable new customers/partners, while maximizing customer
satisfaction
  • You set up, plan and execute all commercial activities specific to the
accounts, discussion of new product introductions and merchandising
  • You manage a budget for the accounts area
  • You create and implement business plans to grow Lenovo’s market share while
monitoring market developments
  • You deliver revenue growth across your varied business partner base,
leveraging our channel incentive programs
  • You collaborate with partners in demand generation activities and marketing

You will report to the Senior Sales Manager in Large Enterprise Acquisition
supporting customers in EPS Acquisition. You will participate in weekly
collaborative planning calls and meetings.
Position Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, career-minded professional to join our
Acquisition Sales Team.

Lenovo is looking for a passionate, goal-oriented, articulate and possess a
strong personality with the desire to reach high performance goals. This
position will be responsible for uncovering opportunities, selling the
benefits of the full catalogue of Lenovo products and selling against the
competition. This is a true hunter role, with a good bit of prospecting and
relationship management. The chosen Acquisition Account Manager for Large
Enterprise Accounts will create positive business outcomes for his/her clients
and Lenovo by reaching out to our prospects using inbound/outbound sales
techniques including extensive teaming with channel partners.

Position Requirements:

  • Proven sales track record with experience in acquiring new business and
    developing major accounts are essential
  • Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new
    customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed
    sales
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as
    calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
  • Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements, as well as
    the range of options and cost benefits of each.
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have
    meaningful conversations with prospects.
  • Deliver detailed presentations at C-Suite and DM level
  • Draft and deliver proposals
  • Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address
    customer requirements
  • Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be
    met on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for
    company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying
    processes and forecasted sales
  • Report on sales activity; results and KPI based
  • Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions using company CRM
    systems
  • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant
    time periods
  • Work with delivery and Channel teams to proactively address issues
  • Cultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies that
    may be required to deliver full solutions to customers
  • Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns
  • Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease length of sales
    cycle, enhance sales, and improve customer experience
  • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive
    threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers
    by extending company offerings
  • Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to develop
    improve sales tools
  • Be a company evangelist in the marketplace
  • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and
    integrity

Skills, Experiences & Competencies:

  • Minimum five (5) years sales experience in the PC Hardware market with a
    proven track record of success.
  • MUST have experience in selling to PRIVATE SECTOR (please indicate in your
    CV how many years of experience you have in working with Private Sector
    clients and what did you sell them)
  • Proven ability in capturing new customers , establishing relationships from
    scratch and developing trust relationships that result in sales
  • Proven ability to sell Hardware solutions consisting of PCs, Tablets ,
    Servers
  • Deep understanding of the PC and Tablet business model and market dynamics
  • Ability to carry a quota and overachieve month over month.

Position Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in the field of sales of IT- hardware products
  • Familiarity with the retail/reseller business in the South region
  • Entrepreneurial personality, customer focused, and able to deliver
exceptional solutions well beyond customer expectations
