Salary: Up to £30,000 max depending on experience

You will ensure timely, accurate data is available for use in reporting and analysis of BBB’s programmes to support SME finance, including data management and report development and production. You will be responsible for the accuracy of data loaded into the data warehouse and for the accuracy of information provided to internal and external stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will receive and validate data from external fund delivery partners and ownership of the suitability of validated data for use by BBB, and accurately process and manipulate data into MI systems. You will be the subject matter expert where questions arise requiring a detailed understanding of the data the you have processed.

You will carry out analysis of data and development of bespoke reports for information requests from all levels internally and from external stakeholders and take ownership of the accuracy of reports developed.

Additionally, you will develop elements of centralised, automated data improvement initiatives under the guidance of the Senior Data Manager, identify opportunities to improve data, data management and reporting, and adapt positively to changes in workload and use any available time to improve and innovate existing processes and develop own knowledge.

Essentially you will have significant experience of Microsoft Excel (intermediate or above), experience of producing accurate data analysis and reports from varied data sources (Excel, Database,and etc.) presented visually (PowerPoint, Power BI etc).

Significant experience of Power BI (intermediate or above), an understanding of Data Quality and/or Business Intelligence concepts, experience using data management systems and experience of data handling tools and techniques, including data manipulation and interpretation. E.g. (but not limited to) Python, R, SQL, VBA, JavaScript would be beneficial.
